Sponsored by the Rotary Clubs in District 5150, all food, lodging, and entertainment is free for participants. The 25th Annual Camp Enterprise will be held November 6, 7, and 8, 2009 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It begins at 10:00 a.m. Friday and ends at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.   An awards luncheon is held on Tuesday, November 10 at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.  The 2009 theme is "Providing Opportunities to Tomorrow's Leaders."

Where: YMCA Point Bonita in the Marin Headlands. Click here for information about the location.

Who should apply? Future-oriented 10th, 11th and 12th grade students with an interest in social/business/professional skills.

At Camp, teambuilding exercises bring students together into learning/working groups. Presentations and exercises are led by Rotarians to develop professional skills, business acumen, and career awareness. Teams of students create and present business projects to a panel of judges, and awards are made based on a variety of criteria.

Two academic and two artistic scholarships are awarded to individual participants who impress the judges with their potential during Camp.

Camp Enterprise builds better teamwork and presentation skills, improves career awareness, lays the groundwork for connection with Rotary businesspeople to help create a personal vision for the future, provides experience that can help improve chances for admission to selective colleges, and launches new friendships.
